Welcome to NBT-Solaris Stage 1: If you are viewing this, then you have shown an interest in the MW3 RPG Online Character Creator that NBT has created for use within this league. As mentioned elsewhere, the overall NBT-Solaris project is on hold at present, but we wished to make this conversion of the MW3 RPG rules to online format available for use to the public. A lot of time and effort went into the creation of this system (100's of coding hours), and we are proud to make it available to the CBT enthusiasts of the general public. The only requirement for access to this system is a current HPG Uplink (forum) account.

There are a couple of things that you should keep in mind while making use of this system, as well as how the basic system works:

Stage 1 Beta: While the character creation system is almost complete, there are some areas where you will find bugs, or crashes in the system. Some skill handlers and Field Skill Groups cause coding issues, or an occasional Life Path may get you caught in a loop or dead end. If you run into such a bug, feel free to report it in Thor's Shieldhall on the NBT HPG Uplink. Some bugs we will be able to correct, while others may be outside of our current ability to address. Stage 2 (Ladder League) and Stage 3 (OTB) coding have not begun as of yet. While you may find references to these within Stage 1, they should have no effect on your use of the Character Creation system.

Character Creation Process: There are a couple steps to making a character within the NBT-Solaris system. Once you've created a character, he is viewable at anytime through your own administration pages. If you wish the character to be publically viewable though, it will need to be approved by a Sector Administrator. This approval requires that role-play be entered for each of your primary Life Paths that you have taken. To see what this entails, please review the already publically viewable characters on NBT-Solaris website. Please bear in mind that you do NOT have to write this RP to use this system. Feel free to create characters, print them, and use them for your CBT games without writing a single sentence of RP. NBT just prefers that the publically viewable characters have RP displayed, as this gives the best face to people viewing the site.

The NBT-Solaris rules on Character Creation are up-to-date in this regard, as well as the Encyclopedia for reference in Life Paths, Affiliations, Skills & Traits. Once you have reviewed the above and have signed up on the HPG, feel free to login to the Character Creation system.

The Future: Our hope is that the obvious potential of this system and the public access now granted will attract the attention of a coder willing to work on completing not only the remaining issues with Stage 1, but interested in developing the ladder league coding of Stage 2. Until such time though, we freely offer this system for use by all those who enjoy CBT as much as we do and hope you enjoy this league resource, and consider joining us within the other portions of the NBT League System.
