Applying For A NBT-Classic Unit
This page is for use by Unit Commanders who are looking to start a new unit
within NBT. Before you do so though, there is something very important
that we need to impress upon you. As a Unit Commander, you should realize
that belonging to this type of league is a commitment that you should not
take lightly. It takes time and effort. Everything that you do has an
effect on others, not only in your unit, but in other units as well.
Delayed and postponed battles are no fun for anyone, so be SURE that you
will be able to give this league its due before you apply for membership.
Most units in this league fight a couple nights a week, multiple battles per night. If this seems daunting to you and your unit, may we suggest joining with an existing NBT unit. This will provide the NBT unit with an expanded pilot base, as well as give you and your pilots the combat that you are looking for, without the responsibilities of running a full-fledged unit. Each unit below will list Unit Name, Type, Size and Required Active Pilots. NBT-Classic requires you to role-play your unit as much as possible, so please do as much research as possible on any units you are interested in before submitting your application. The best sources of this information comes from various sourcebooks available from FanPro. Please check the NBT Encyclopedia for the suggested sourcebooks to provide a solid BattleTech basis to fully participate in the league.
The following are the units that we are currently searching to fill for the NBT-Classic league. Pending Status denotes that a group is currently setting up that unit. Vacant Status means the unit is available to be filled.
