Required League Downloads

The following is a list of all current patch and map downloads required for league play within NBT-Classic.  Each pilot must download the following files and install them on their system.  Installation instructions are included for each file.

If you have problems installing any of the patches or packs below, please feel free to ask questions in the League Technology forum on the HPG, or in the #nbt-classic channel on IRC.

The above package contains a fully working version of the latest stable MegaMek Client, along with all current unit, map and configuration files for participating in the latest NBT-Classic matches. We have setup a seperate install so that the settings will not conflict with your existing MegaMek installations. Install this package into its own directory and run the desktop shortcut. If you have a previous version installed, please uninstall before updating to the latest version.

There are other files that are just a good idea to have around depending on your unit and what programs they use.

• TeamSpeak - NBT recommends the usage of TeamSpeak 2.0 for game voice comms.  TS2 is active on the NBT VoiceComms server (voice.netbattletech.com). Simply download, install and connect.
   
  GoTo: TeamSpeak 2.0 Client
  GoTo: TeamSpeak 2.0 Server (only needed if running your own TS2 server)

• Sun Java RunTime Enviornment - If your computer has difficulty running MegaMek with the Windows Java support, you may download and install Sun's Java Enviornment. It will integrate with Windows and should correct any Java errors you may have with running MegaMek.
